SLCTM20 Slice Test Media

For E Lab A & B model testers only. SLCTM20 is designed with a horizontal slot at the midpoint of the vertical axis. This slot controls the depth of cut lending an extra data point to users who wish to compare the slicing efficacy of one edge to another. Sold in packs of 50 but yields 100 test measurements by simply flipping the test media over testing with the unused side. This test media, in conjunction with the SLCF slice fixture , is suitable  for both  push cut and slicing cut tests. SLCTM20 is 0.25mm (.010") thick, tear propagation resistant, and composed of  a blended plastic compound.

SLCTM30  Slice Test Media

For E LAB A & B model testers only. SLCTM30 is designed to allow long slicing cuts. This test media will allow blade sections up to 100mm (4.0") to be tested in a single pass using either the CNC10 or hand tests. Additionaly, the effects blade geometry on the cut become more apparent as the depth of cut increases. Sold in packs of 50 but yields 100 test measurements by simply flipping the test media over testing with the unused side. This test media, in conjunction with the SLCF slice fixture , is suitable  for both  push cut and slicing cut tests. SLCTM20 is 0.25mm (.010") thick, tear propagation resistant, and composed of  a blended plastic compound.

DTC100 Test Clips

DTC100 test  clips in conjunction with our DCB10 test clip base make testing easier in many ways. Test clips allow easier access permitting hand-held edges and odd shaped edges to be measured. Test clips are great for laboratory use where edges may be found that are sub-50 BESS typically. Test clips are also useful to those who have lost dexterity in their hands. While test clips utilize the same test media that is found in our TM02 test media canisters, DTC100 test clips are not BESS CERTIFIED and are useful for highly repeatible relative edge measurements only. Test clip measurements yield approximately 80% of the force required when using our BESS CERTIFIED ATF10G fixture.
